Philadelphia's Covenant House Selected as PodCamp Philly Charity for 2009!

PodCamp Philly is excited to announce that Philadelphia’s Covenant House will be this year’s sponsored charity. After substantial research and discussion, event organizers carefully reviewed the charitable organizations suggested and felt that Covenant House is the best choice.

Covenant House is the largest privately-funded agency in the Americas providing shelter and other services to homeless, runaway and throwaway youth. Founded in New York City in 1972, Covenant House has facilities in 20 cities throughout the United States, Canada, Honduras, Mexico and Nicaragua. Covenant House came to Philadelphia in 1999 and has since helped young people throughout our region. Here’s a bit more if you’re so inclined…
